Question : What is the correct procedure for opening a will ?

Answer : It should be opened in the presence of all heirs simultaneously. The custodian must send written notice to all heirs at least 7 days prior to the opening, specifying that this is the day the will is opened, along with the first meeting of the heirs to proceed with the distribution of the inheritance.
